What is the pressure difference of the oil and gas separator?

The oil and gas separation element is a key component that determines the quality of the compressed air of the air compressor. A good quality oil and gas separation element can not only ensure the efficiency of the compressor, but also the life of the filter element can reach thousands of hours. The oil and gas separator designed and produced by Staple Filtration is specially used for rotary screw air compressors and rotary vane air compressors. There are three installation modes: vertical, horizontal, and screw-in.

The solid particles in the compressed air stay in the filter layer after passing through the oil separation core, which causes the pressure difference (resistance) of the oil separation core to increase continuously. With the increase of the operating time of the oil separation core, when the oil separation core pressure difference reaches 0.08 to 0.1Mpa, the filter element must be replaced, otherwise the operating cost of the compressor is increased. An observation port should be installed to monitor the separated lubricating oil level during installation, to prevent the lubricating oil from soaking the oil and gas separation filter element, affecting the use effect, to ensure that the two ends of the oil and gas separation filter element are well sealed, and to avoid gas short circuits before and after separation.
